1970: Educeted at Durham and London Universities and is a Research Engineer. Served in the R.A.F. Toured Europe, West Indies and U.S..A. Rhodesia and South Africa with The Angels, in the; capacity of captain or manager. Introduced The Ange;ls to General Eisenhower on 1963 Tour. Plays cricket, squash and badminton but allergic to golf. Interested in bridge, foreign travel, languages and
hockey administration. Writing Ph.D. thesis. Still has ambition to play for the county but f’ears this is now unlikely to be realised.
1973: Represented Durham University at cricket, hockey and bridge. Is an engineer with the UKAEA at Harwell and concerned with R. & D. Plays hockey for Guildford and was Secretary for five years. Has captained and managed Angels sides in Africa, Europe, Jamaica South America and U.S.A. Recently played for France (over 35) against England, Scotland and Belgium by virtue of a supposedly french grandmother and most unusual circumstances. Likes hockey, getting out of difficult situations, foreign travel, trying to arrive on time, writing hortatory papers.
